About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work on a day-to-day basis (Monday to Friday) with children who have special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with SEN students, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing individualized support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish trusting relationships with students using a restorative approach
  • Support teachers in creating engaging learning experiences for SEN students
  • Collaborate with school staff to develop strategies for promoting student well-being

Requirements:

  • Teaching Assistant Level 2 or equivalent (not essential)
  • A sincere passion for working with children who have special educational needs
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles
