Special Educational Needs Assistant: Empowering Learning Together

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting. As a valued member of our team, you will work closely with teachers and students to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborative Support: Work closely with the class teacher and other teaching assistants to deliver high-quality education to students with diverse needs.
  • Personalized Student Support: Provide individualized support to students during lessons and activities, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Environment Safety and Maintenance: Maintain a safe and welcoming space for all students and staff, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Learning Plan Development: Collaborate with staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans that cater to students' unique needs.
  • Student Data Analysis: Assist with collecting and recording student data to inform assessment and progress monitoring.
Requirements:
  • Prior Experience: Previous experience working with children or young adults, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Effective Communication: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with staff and students.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, working effectively as part of a team.

Estimated Salary: £26,000 - £31,000 per annum
