Job Title: SEN Teacher

Location: S45 area

Salary: £160-£200 per day, estimated salary: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum

We are seeking a qualified Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to work in the S45 area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for inclusive education and be committed to supporting students with special educational needs to reach their full potential.

Job Description:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students with a range of special educational needs.
  • Develop and implement tailored lesson plans and interventions to meet individual student needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, support staff, and parents to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods and resources as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential, with a recognised teaching qualification.
  • SEN Experience: Previous experience working with students with special educational needs in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of SEN Strategies: A strong understanding of best practices in SEN, including differentiated instruction, behaviour management techniques, and knowledge of specific learning difficulties and conditions.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to engage and communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
