Innovation Director

Job Summary:
Premier Foods is seeking a highly skilled Innovation Controller to lead the development of new products and categories in our Breakfast and New Categories team. As a key member of our innovation team, you will be responsible for building a pipeline of innovative products and delivering them successfully to market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive innovation strategy to drive growth and profitability in the Breakfast and New Categories team.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives and consumer needs.
- Collaborate with R&D, Factory, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution of innovation projects.
- Manage and prioritize innovation projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, consumer insights, and market developments to inform innovation decisions.
Requirements:
- 6-8+ years of experience in FMCG or brand-led organizations, with a focus on innovation and product development.
- Proven track record of delivering successful innovation projects, with a strong understanding of consumer needs and market trends.
- Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Strong commercial acumen, with a focus on driving growth and profitability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of personal accountability and entrepreneurial spirit.
