Innovation Director

Job Summary:
Premier Foods is seeking a highly skilled Innovation Controller to lead the development of new products and categories in our Breakfast and New Categories team. As a key member of our innovation team, you will be responsible for building a pipeline of innovative products and delivering them successfully to market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive innovation strategy for the Breakfast and New Categories team, aligned with Premier Foods' business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and categories, ensuring they meet consumer needs and business goals.
- Collaborate with R&D, Factory, Sales, and Finance teams to drive innovation and ensure successful product launches.
- Manage and prioritize innovation projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and partners to drive innovation and growth.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
Requirements:
- 6-8+ years of experience in FMCG or brand-led organizations, with a focus on innovation and product development.
- Proven track record of delivering successful innovation projects and launching new products to market.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze market data and consumer insights to inform innovation decisions.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business objectives.
