Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Band 5 or established Band 6 Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist looking to take their career to the next level. You will have the chance to work with a diverse caseload, managing adult MSK conditions and operating at a senior level with clinical autonomy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage all referrals for adult MSK conditions, including those received as adult self-referrals, and from primary, secondary and tertiary care services, local MSK interface services, and local first contact practitioners.
  • Be expected to maintain a diverse and considerable caseload of musculoskeletal cases, operating at a senior level with clinical autonomy.
  • Participate in a rolling programme of education, clinical evaluation, audit and research across the speciality.
Requirements
  • Honours degree or equivalent diploma in Physiotherapy.
  • Registration with the HCPC.
  • Undertaken a range of relevant postgraduate courses.
  • Significant MSK experience at Band 5 or band 6 level.
  • A growth mind set, and a willingness to be fully involved in service development opportunities.
