About the Position

TÜV Rheinland Group is seeking an experienced Ergonomics Expert for High Hazard Industries to join our team. As a key member of our Human Factors team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality projects and supporting the growth of our client base.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Human Factors/Ergonomics, with experience in high hazard industries such as nuclear. A Chartered Ergonomist & Human Factors Specialist (C.ErgHF) or working towards the award is essential. You will be responsible for providing technical human factors support to colleagues and clients, working in areas such as Human Factors Integration and Human Factors Engineering support to design and engineering projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert advice on human factors principles and guidelines.
  • Supporting project delivery, including HMI design and assessment, anthropometric assessment/user trials, safety culture and competence management, training development and delivery, safety case support for claims on operators, task analysis, and quantitative human reliability assessment/human error analysis.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments.
