Ergonomics and Accessibility Expert

We are looking for a highly skilled Ergonomics and Accessibility Expert to join our team at Posturite Limited. Based in Bristol, this role offers a unique opportunity to work with a variety of clients and make a real difference in their lives.

About the Role:

  • As an Ergonomics and Accessibility Expert, you will conduct comprehensive assessments to identify employees' job functions, challenges, and needs.
  • You will then provide recommendations for technology, equipment, or reasonable adjustments to enhance work effectiveness and comfort.
  • Your written reports will be detailed and well-justified, meeting agreed service level agreements.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments with employees to understand their job requirements and challenges.
  • Identify necessary technology, equipment, or adjustments to improve work performance and comfort.
  • Provide written reports with justifications, meeting agreed service level agreements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role, providing Workplace Needs Assessments in a corporate environment.
  • Degree education and recognized relevant qualifications.
  • Extensive knowledge of neurodiverse conditions, including ADHD, autism, dyslexia, etc.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation, such as the Equality Act.
  • Familiarity with common Assistive Technology software, including Read & Write, Dragon, and Mindview.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to work effectively in a freelance capacity.

Working Arrangements:

  • This is a freelance role based in Bristol, with flexibility to work virtually or face-to-face within a 95-mile radius.
  • The ideal candidate will have a registered Umbrella/LTD company and be available to work Monday-Wednesday.

Salary: £40,000-£60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
