We are looking for an experienced Ergonomics and Safety Consultant to join our team at Rullion Ltd. The successful candidate will have a strong background in human factors engineering and excellent communication skills.

Job Description:

  • Provide professional support to the Principal Human Factors Engineer
  • Support the development and mentoring of junior team members
  • Carry out human factors assessment work in support of ergonomic design development, safety assessment, and the validation of the human performance elements of high hazard systems
  • Prepare work scopes, cost estimates, and programmes for human factors assessment work to be undertaken
  • Check HF assessment work undertaken by other team members
  • Engage with regulatory bodies on HF related issues

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality human factors assessments
  • Develop and implement effective human factors solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

  • Degree in Psychology
  • MSc in Occupational Psychology, Applied Psychology, or Industrial Psychology
  • Significant experience in a highly regulated industry
  • Good understanding of nuclear safety assessment principles and safety case production
  • Familiar with HF qualitative and quantitative HRA techniques
  • Experienced in the application of human factors knowledge in support of engineering system and process design
  • Able to deliver work packages against tight deadlines
  • Able to gain SC clearance
