About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Teacher to join our team as a Year 5 Classroom Leader. This is a full-time role that requires a passion for teaching and a commitment to making a positive impact on children's lives.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and implementing positive behaviour strategies. Your strong communication skills and ability to engage children of all abilities will be essential in this role.

About Our School

We are a growing, one-form entry, voluntary-aided Orthodox Jewish boys' primary school, serving nearly 360 pupils. Our school values staff wellbeing and offers a supportive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, especially with pupils who may be disruptive
  • Implement positive behaviour strategies and reward systems to encourage good behaviour and engagement
Salary and Benefits
  • Competitive Salary: £32,000 - £41,000 per annum (based on 190 days), dependant on qualifications and experience
