Temporary Year 4 Teaching Position

We invite applications from qualified teachers for a temporary full-time position as a Year 4 Teacher at the Wayman Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and deliver lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of 8-9 year olds, promoting engagement and academic progress.
  2. Evaluate student performance, providing regular feedback to drive improvement.
  3. Create a productive and respectful classroom atmosphere, encouraging students to take ownership of their learning.
  4. Liaise with colleagues to share expertise and develop comprehensive teaching approaches.
  5. Maintain open lines of communication with parents, keeping them informed about student progress.
  6. Utilize a range of teaching techniques to accommodate different learning styles, ensuring all students have equal opportunities to succeed.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience in a primary school setting.
  • Have a solid grasp of the national curriculum and associated assessment frameworks.
  • Demonstrate exceptional classroom management skills, along with effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Dedicate time to professional development, staying current with educational research and best practices.
