SEN Teaching Assistant Lead

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at ClassRoom Support, providing support to students with SEN/SEMH in an inclusive educational environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting students with SEN/SEMH and will be committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning experience.
Main Responsibilities:- Student Support: Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN/SEMH, ensuring their individual needs are met in the classroom setting.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers to implement personalized learning plans and behavior management strategies for students with SEN.
- Classroom Management: Create a safe and supportive environment for students, promoting social and emotional well-being.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with parents and other professionals involved in the students' care to ensure a holistic approach to their education and well-being.
- Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years' experience working with individuals with ASD and/or ADHD is required.
- Skills: Strong understanding of SEN support strategies and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Training: Relevant certifications or training in the field of Special Educational Needs is highly desirable.
- Lessons: Provide individualized support to students during lessons, ensuring they are able to engage and participate fully.
- Inclusion: Collaborate with teachers to facilitate the inclusion of students in all aspects of school life.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor and record student progress, and contribute to the review and development of their individual support plans.
- Classroom Atmosphere: Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting respect and understanding among all students.
Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
