About the Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher for a full-time role at our vibrant primary school. The successful candidate will lead a diverse Year 5 class, delivering engaging lessons and fostering a positive learning environment.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering creative lessons in line with the national curriculum. You will also implement effective behaviour strategies and reward systems to encourage good behaviour and engagement.

About the School

Our school is a growing, one-form entry, voluntary-aided Orthodox Jewish boys' primary school, serving nearly 360 pupils. We cater to the Jewish communities of North West London, with some pupils coming from further afield.

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 5
  • Proven ability to manage challenging behaviour and implement positive behaviour strategies
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire children of all abilities
Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, especially with pupils who may be disruptive
  • Implement positive behaviour strategies and reward systems to encourage good behaviour and engagement
