Highways Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead a major highways upgrade project in Cornwall. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and project management, with experience in delivering complex infrastructure projects.
The role involves overseeing a team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the site, as well as delivering the project safely, on time, and to customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a valid SMSTS and CSCS card, as well as a degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
The project offers long-term contract potential, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to put their stamp on the scheme from the outset. The company is a reputable contracting business with a strong reputation in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the site
- Deliver the project safely, on time, and to customer satisfaction
- Supervise workers, subcontractors, and work activities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage budgets and resources effectively
Requirements:
- SMSTS and CSCS card
- Degree in civil engineering or equivalent
- Previous experience in civil engineering projects
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
