Senior Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead a major highways upgrade scheme in Cornwall. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and project management, with experience in delivering complex infrastructure projects.

The role involves overseeing a team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the site, as well as delivering the project safely, on time, and to customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a valid SMSTS and CSCS card, as well as a track record of delivering high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of site managers and engineers to deliver the project safely and efficiently
  2. Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  3. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  4. Manage relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers
  5. Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks as necessary

Requirements:

  • SMSTS and CSCS card
  • ONC/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Previous experience in civil engineering projects
