Cloud Security Engineer
As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for developing integrations with cloud providers and technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes to identify assets clients have deployed in their cloud, how these are connected, and which are vulnerable to attack. This data is then used to help clients understand their cloud environment and protect it.
This is a hybrid role, where you will work a minimum of 2 days a week in the Cambridge office. You will contribute to rapid prototyping of new ideas, improve existing products and platforms, and investigate unique methodologies to defend against unknown cyber-attacks.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a solution-focused mindset combined with an analytical approach to problem-solving. You should be able to program using Python and demonstrate an understanding of writing code in a production environment. Additionally, you will need to be comfortable working autonomously and taking independent decisions, as well as having the ability to work cooperatively within a team.
The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 per annum, based on your experience and qualifications. Darktrace offers a range of benefits, including 23 days' holiday + all public holidays, rising to 25 days after 2 years of service, private medical insurance, life insurance, and a salary sacrifice pension scheme.
