Cloud Security Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Architect to join our team at Jagex Limited. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security controls to safeguard our cloud-based infrastructure.
About the Role:The successful candidate will have substantial experience within the cyber security domain, particularly with cloud security operations in federated enterprises. You will lead and perform infrastructure threat modeling, security architecture reviews, and provide security recommendations that balance functional and non-functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement security controls to safeguard infrastructure, applications, and data.
- Spearhead the design, implementation, and continuous monitoring of security measures and best practices for AWS and Azure environments.
- Develop, document, and maintain security processes, incident response plans, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Substantial experience within the cyber security domain, particularly with cloud security operations in federated enterprises.
- Ability to lead and perform infrastructure threat modeling, security architecture reviews, and provide security recommendations that balance functional and non-functional requirements.
- Experience with AWS services, containers, orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes), and cloud-native security tools such as AWS Security Hub and Azure Security Center.
- Familiarity with automated security processes such as CI/CD pipeline security, infrastructure-as-code security, and automated patch management.
- Cloud security certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), CISSP or equivalent.
- An estimated salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum.
