Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Jagex has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - Cloud Security. Your primary focus will be on developing and enhancing the security posture of our cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP). This role offers a huge amount of scope and a chance to put your stamp on the cloud security function at Jagex.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience within the cyber security domain, particularly with cloud security operations in federated enterprises. They will also have the ability to lead and perform infrastructure threat modeling, security architecture reviews, and provide security recommendations that balance functional and non-functional requirements.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. This role includes all the benefits listed below.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the optimal use of AWS and Azure security tools and services to enhance the security posture of the infrastructure.
- Monitor and analyze security events on cloud platforms (AWS and Azure), ensuring timely detection and response to potential threats.
- Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps) from inception to deployment.
