About the Role: We are seeking a Support Teacher Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will have a degree in Education or a related field and proven experience working in a school environment. As a Support Teacher Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of our partner schools, providing academic support to students, and promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the supervision of classes during teacher absences;
  • Maintain high standards of student behavior and ensure a safe and respectful learning environment;
  • Provide academic support to students, promoting their social and emotional development;
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment;


Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in Education or related field;
  • Proven experience working in a school environment, preferably as a Cover Supervisor or similar role;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly;
  • Basic knowledge of educational policies and procedures.


Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
