Behaviour Support Assistant | Richmond

A dynamic Behaviour Support Assistant opportunity has arisen in Richmond, ideal for a Psychology Graduate eager to make a meaningful impact in a secondary school setting.

This role involves supporting students' social and emotional development, helping them build positive behaviours in a structured learning environment.

The school serves a community of around 1,000 pupils and is rated Good by Ofsted. It prioritises student wellbeing, combining academic rigour with a nurturing culture to support every individual's development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students in understanding and adhering to school behaviour policies.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group interventions, focusing on goal setting, coping strategies, and conflict resolution.
  • Promote students' emotional wellbeing, resilience, and self-control.
  • Assist teachers in managing classroom behaviour to ensure a productive learning space.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Minimum 2:1 degree from a recognised UK university.
  • Previous experience working with children or young people is advantageous.
Competitive Salary:

$96-$105 per day on a permanent PAYE contract.

Gaining valuable experience in a supportive school prepares you for a career in education or psychology.
