Account Executive

About the Role:
  • Achieve sales and profit targets for individual named accounts with some prospecting for new business.
  • Effect an efficient and satisfactory supply and service to customers.
  • Plan and execute account planning, maximising customer-facing time and minimising travel.
  • Comply with company policies, particularly Health & Safety regulations.
  • Borrow knowledge from historic data and market trends to support customers' growth.
  • Take ownership of named accounts, including dealing with client issues raised, revenue, and product mix.
  • Manage the Company's assets on loan or rent to customers.

Requirements:
  • Practical experience of welding, able to demonstrate equipment and consumables.
  • Understand the importance of shielding gases in welding and how it adds value.
  • Possess a full, clean driving licence.
  • Knowledge of sales principles and methods.
  • Competency in relationship building and solution sales.
  • Field-based experience in a technical environment with business development or account management background.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum.
