Apollo – The International Art Magazine is seeking a highly skilled Media Sales and Partnerships Manager to join our commercial team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling advertising into our magazine and digital platforms, managing art fair and media partnerships, and representing Apollo at industry events.
Key Responsibilities:- Sell print and digital advertising to existing and new clients, working closely with our Advertising Director to drive revenue across all channels
- Research and identify opportunities for securing new business for Apollo
- Create and manage a new business pipeline
- Provide excellent client management and after-sales service
- Regularly visit both existing and potential gallery clients
- Build mutually rewarding relationships with your client base, keeping abreast of the latest news and relevant market information
- Manage Apollo fair/media partnerships from initial contact through to the implementation of agreements
- Develop a strategy to improve partnership performance
Requirements:
- Experience of selling advertising to an art world client base or similar for print and online
- Good understanding of the cultural media landscape
- A persuasive communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
- A tenacious approach to new business and a commitment to providing excellent client management
- Comfortable dealing with a varied workload and delivering projects as part of a cross-functional team
This is an office-based role that requires some international travel. Languages are useful but not obligatory.
