Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Industry Maintenance Engineer to join our expanding team at Detail 2 Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspections, repairs, maintenance, and modernization of all overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment.

The Role:
- Responsible for inspections, repairs, maintenance, and modernization of all overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment.
- Must have experience in electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical engineering.
- Heavy industrial plant mechanic experience is preferred.

Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Preferably electrical experience of 3 phase 415vac motors, squirrel cage and wound rotor, contactor control circuits, 110/48-volt relay and contactor circuits, stop and reset circuits and some frequency speed/inverter control device experience.
- Mechanical experience of medium to large drive couplings, brakes, and reduction gearboxes.
- Experience with overhead crane maintenance and inspection routines preferred.
- Experience with industrial radio control systems.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as per business requirements.
- Ability to investigate and repair a variety of overhead crane and hoist components in varying customer locations.
- C1 Driving licence beneficial
