Heavy Industry Technician

Stirling Warrington is seeking a highly skilled Heavy Industry Technician to join our team. As a Heavy Industry Technician, you will be responsible for the electrical maintenance of large industrial machines, including die-presses, vacuum/arc furnaces, and plasma welders. The successful candidate will have 5 years experience as an electrically biased maintenance engineer in manufacturing and hold Level 3 and apprenticeship served as an electrical maintenance engineer, or level 2 with similar experience.

Job Description:
The Heavy Industry Technician will work closely with the production team to ensure that all equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently. This will involve electrical maintenance, fault finding, and PLC troubleshooting in a heavy industry setting. The Heavy Industry Technician will also be responsible for identifying and implementing improvements to the electrical maintenance process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out electrical maintenance tasks on large industrial machines
  • Identify and repair faults on electrical equipment
  • Troubleshoot PLC issues using Allen Bradley and Siemens software
  • Implement improvements to the electrical maintenance process
