**Job Title:** Heavy Manufacturing Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Heavy Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd. As a Heavy Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance on heavy manufacturing equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduled Maintenance: Perform regular checks and maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Fault-Finding: Investigate and resolve technical issues with mechanical equipment, using your expertise to troubleshoot and repair problems efficiently.
  • Electrical Systems: Conduct repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, working closely with colleagues to ensure seamless operations.
  • Shift Work: Be available to work night shifts (10 pm - 6 am) Sunday to Thursday, and afternoons Monday to Friday (2 pm - 10 pm).

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Heavy Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd. We offer a competitive salary package, including a basic salary of £45,000 - £48,500 per annum, plus optional overtime. Our company values its employees and provides a range of benefits, including a 5% pension contribution and 5% pay review every January.

Requirements:

  • Background: A strong background in mechanical maintenance, with experience in electrical systems.
  • Bearings Experience: Experience working with bearings.
  • Certifications: City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent qualifications.
