Heavy Equipment Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Heavy Equipment Engineer to join our team at Thegradcafe. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions for our heavy equipment fleet.

As a Heavy Equipment Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize equipment performance and efficiency. You will also be responsible for conducting research and analysis to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement innovative solutions for heavy equipment fleet optimization
  • Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize equipment performance and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g., mechanical engineering, industrial engineering)
  • At least 5 years of experience working as a Heavy Equipment Engineer or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • A valid LDV driving license

Salary: £43,800 - £50,000 per annum
