About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at Rise Technical Recruitment Limited.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing heavy machinery and equipment in a local patch setting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical plant systems and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

A competitive salary of £42,000 per annum is on offer, plus bonus, progression, training and overtime opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, maintenance and repair of heavy machinery and equipment
  • Carry out routine checks and inspections to ensure equipment is in good working order
  • Identify and report any faults or issues to management

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of mechanical plant systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
