Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer - Heavy Machinery Repair to join our team at Finning, the largest CAT dealer in the UK and Ireland. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving mechanical or electrical issues with heavy equipment on site.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant equipment, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

You will be working within our industry-leading field service department, utilizing the most up-to-date dealer software and repair techniques. This role offers a competitive salary of £43,800 per annum, plus benefits including 25 days' holiday, company pension scheme, and healthcare.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of heavy earth-moving equipment operation
  • Able to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues on site
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively
