Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales and Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Pertemps Daventry. As a key member of our sales team, you will provide administrative support to our sales team, handling customer inquiries, preparing and following up on sales quotations, and maintaining efficient filing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle and respond efficiently to customer inquiries and sales enquiries.
  • Prepare and follow up on sales quotations for clients.
  • Support Sales Managers in generating reports and organizing data obtained from internal administrative systems.
  • Maintain good customer relationships by acting as an extension of the field sales force.
  • Liaise between other departments, such as Operations, to provide the best service to clients.
  • Ensure effective filing and administrative systems to support the Sales Team.
  • Maintain an understanding of our products and services.
  • Ensure that all pending quotations and requirements are organized efficiently.
Requirements:
  • A good standard of education, including formal qualifications in Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent).
  • Minimum of two years' work experience in sales administration or order duties.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs, such as Word and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Service-oriented, attention to detail, capable of working to deadlines under pressure.
  • Able to work without constant supervision and organize oneself and workload appropriately.
  • Must have a professional and proactive approach to customer service.
