Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced practitioner to work directly with children, young people, and their families, providing one-to-one and group therapy sessions. You will be based in a school during school hours, working closely with pastoral teams and occasionally supporting family members via phone, video calls, or in-school meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapeutic interventions to children aged 11-16 years, promoting emotional health and wellbeing
  • Support children and families through assessment, monitoring, and outcome-based planning
  • Collaborate with school pastoral teams, ensuring seamless delivery of services
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to safeguarding protocols

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working therapeutically with children and young people
  • Proven ability to assess and monitor outcomes, ensuring effective service delivery
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building trust with clients
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding policies

This fixed-term contract offers a competitive salary range of £24,602 - £26,209 (pro rata for part-time), plus benefits including:
