Assistant Farm Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Farm Manager to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe. As a key member of our farm management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our poultry farm.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Farm Manager in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of bird health, food, and supplies.
- Contribute to the development of skills and knowledge in line with the MP competency framework.
- Liaise closely with the Farm Manager to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage and motivate the Farm Assistant in all areas of farm operation.
- Ensure the efficient performance of each flock and maintain communication with the Farm Manager.
- Deputise for the Farm Manager in their absence, covering all aspects of farm management.
- Previous experience in a poultry farm environment.
- Level 2/3 Poultry Passport Qualification.
- Flexibility and reliability.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Good communication skills.
- Sound decision-making.
- Computer literate.
