Farm Operations Manager

About the RoleAs a Laying Farm Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our client's poultry production operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the farm, ensuring the health and welfare of the birds, and driving success through effective management and leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain the farm's operations, including poultry production, health, safety, and hygiene.
- Oversee and support the Assistant Manager and Farm Assistants in their daily duties.
- Monitor and control ventilation, heating, feed, water, and lighting to create optimal conditions for the birds.
- Keep accurate records, manage supplies, and handle alarms.
- Maintain budgets, control costs, and contribute to profit and loss insights.
- Experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills and a good understanding of farming operations and poultry management.
- Full UK driving license.
- Salary: £36,900.
- A 3-bedroom house, Council tax and water included.
- Eligibility to join a performance bonus scheme.
