Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Worker to join our team as a Complex Needs Support Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients to address their complex needs, promote independence, and enhance overall well-being.
Responsibilities- Salary: £24,500 - £29,500 per annum (dependent on experience)
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Your duties will include:
- Holding a caseload of 5 key clients and conducting regular key working sessions
- Completing comprehensive needs and risk assessments and managing risks effectively
- Working in partnership with other departments and external agencies to assess and address client needs
- Supporting clients to access specialist support and promoting independence
- Ensuring key clients' income is maximised and assisting clients to access suitable courses or placements
Please note that this role involves lone working and requires a high level of autonomy. To apply for this role, you must have experience of working with victims of VAWG, domestic violence, and other gender-based violence.
A strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and a non-judgmental approach to working with complex needs clients are essential. Familiarity with IT applications and basic keyboard skills are also required, along with strong time management skills and the ability to work on own initiative.
