We're looking for a skilled Residential Care Worker to join our team at Jewish Care. As a Residential Care Worker, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care services to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

This is a full-time position, working 38.5 hours per week on a rolling rota from 8am to 8pm, including some weekends. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the importance of person-centred care and be able to work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent care services.

About the Role

  • Deliver high-quality care services to residents, including assisting with personal care, food and drink, and administering medication
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver person-centred care that promotes resident independence and dignity
  • Support residents in all activities of daily living to maximise wellbeing and promote choice, independence, and dignity
  • Provide encouragement and companionship by engaging with residents and other stakeholders

Requirements

  • A Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or willingness to be trained)
  • Naturally compassionate and able to demonstrate integrity, through treating residents fairly and with respect
  • Ability to work shifts, including weekends and evenings
