Care Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Care Support Worker to join our team at Bluebird Care Portsmouth. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prompt or administer medication as required.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to our customers.
- Assist with meal preparation and light household tasks.
- Support customers to engage in community activities.
- Monitor and report changes in customers' health or well-being.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and understanding when working with individuals with diverse needs.
- Reliability and punctuality with strong time-management skills.
- Full driving license and access to your own vehicle.
- Flexibility to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week, including alternate weekends.
- Competitive pay rates starting at £12.20 up to £22.05 per hour contact time.
- Paid mileage (45p per mile) travel time ON TOP of the hourly rate.
