About the Role:

Cyber Underwriter - Senior Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Cyber Underwriter to join our team at Markel International Services Ltd. As a Senior Cyber Underwriter, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of cyber insurance policies, analyzing risks, and developing strategies to mitigate potential losses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of cyber insurance policies, including analyzing risks and developing strategies to mitigate potential losses
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients, providing expert advice on cyber insurance solutions
  • Collaborate with the claims team to ensure seamless claims handling and minimize losses
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, identifying opportunities to enhance our cyber insurance offerings
  • Contribute to the development of new products and services, working closely with the underwriting and claims teams

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in cyber underwriting, with a proven track record of managing complex portfolios
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with brokers, clients, and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of cyber insurance products and services, with a focus on risk management and mitigation
