Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Cyber Underwriter to drive growth and innovation in our UK Cyber and Tech PI team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional to join a dynamic organization and contribute to shaping the future of underwriting.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Cyber Underwriting, Broking, or Claims
  • A strong understanding of the Cyber and Tech business model, underwriting methodology, and the risks we assume
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Program Management and Governance experience
  • Analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent presentation, prioritization, communication, and time management skills
Your Responsibilities

In this key role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing strategies alongside the UK Head of Account to build profitable growth in the UK Cyber and Tech PI portfolios
  • Acting as a referral point for complex accounts
  • Working with supporting areas to control and measure facilities and take action when needed
  • Supporting and driving Broker Management initiatives
  • Driving research and development, working alongside claims to ensure products launched meet market needs and company appetite
  • Playing a key role in product innovation and evolving coverage and services offered
  • Overseeing compliance/progress of underwriting training and coordinating underwriting authorities
  • Providing oversight and tracking of quarterly peer reviews for UK cyber
  • Coordinating Underwriting Rules with UK head of Cyber and Cyber Global product team and the global product team

Salary Range

The estimated annual salary range for this role is £70,000 - £100,000, based on industry standards and location.
