Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Multi-Skilled Engineer to support our clients engineering team. Your role will be to ensure the smooth running and maintenance of key manufacturing equipment. You will respond to breakdowns, perform preventative maintenance, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out preventative maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns.
- Perform electrical & mechanical fault-finding and ensure equipment is safe and compliant.
- Support machinery installations and equipment relocation.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to optimise plant reliability.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, quality management systems, and audit compliance in a manufacturing environment.
- Effective time management, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in using relevant IT software programs and engineering tools.
Qualifications and Experience:
- NVQ3 in Electrical / Multi-skilled Engineering.
- 18th Edition Electrical Regulations BS7671.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Understanding of Root Cause Analysis and practical problem-solving skills.
