About the Role

We are seeking a talented Indirect Purchasing Specialist to join our team. As an Indirect Purchasing Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the business in finding cost-effective solutions, managing suppliers, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Your Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supplier Sourcing and Management: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Purchasing Support: Assist in the development of purchasing strategies, manage small-scale purchasing requests, and provide commercial support to other teams.
  • Contract Management: Manage end-to-end tendering processes, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Commercial Awareness: Understanding of commercial principles and ability to negotiate contracts.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with the Purchasing Team and other departments.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

We offer a competitive annual salary of £23,700, 27 days holiday per annum (pro rata to your contract), and an attractive pension scheme.
