Stroke Liaison Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Adult Nurse to join our stroke team in the Western Isles. This role will involve working closely with the community to provide high-quality stroke care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert stroke care to patients in the Western Isles
  • Work collaboratively with the stroke team to develop and implement stroke care policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of stroke patients
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for stroke patients
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families

Requirements:

  • NMC Registered Adult Nurse
  • Substantial post-registration experience in stroke care
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • Good communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
