Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major highways project in Carlisle.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all commercial and contractual activities on the project, ensuring timely submission of valuations and applications for payment.
- Provide accurate cost management, forecasting, and reporting to stakeholders.
- Lead contract administration, ensuring compliance with NEC contracts, and identify and evaluate project risks and opportunities.
A strong working knowledge of NEC contracts is essential, as well as previous experience in the highways sector. Exceptional commercial acumen and attention to detail are required, along with strong negotiation and communication skills.
The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Freelance opportunity offering flexibility and benefits outside IR35.
