We are a leading construction company based in Carlisle, seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate Costs and Prepare Quantity Requirements: Accurately estimate costs for construction projects and prepare detailed quantity requirements to ensure project feasibility.
  • Monitor Budgets and Track Expenses: Continuously monitor construction budgets and track expenses to ensure projects stay within budget.
  • Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms.
  • Review and Update Project Costs: Regularly review and update project costs as construction work progresses to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
  • Skills: Proficiency in cost estimation software and understanding of project management principles.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
