Construction Cost Manager

We are a leading construction company based in Carlisle, seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of our projects, ensuring costs are controlled and budgets are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Estimate Costs and Prepare Quantity Requirements: Accurately estimate costs for construction projects and prepare detailed quantity requirements to ensure project feasibility.
- Monitor Budgets and Track Expenses: Continuously monitor construction budgets and track expenses to ensure projects stay within budget.
- Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers to secure the best pricing for our projects.
- Review and Update Project Costs: Regularly review and update project costs as construction work progresses to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Skills: Proficiency in cost estimation software and understanding of project management principles.
