Palliative Medicine Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Palliative Medicine to join our team at Whipps Cross University Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to patients with palliative care needs, working closely with colleagues across the trust and other palliative care services locally.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Consultant care to patients in the Margaret Centre Specialist Palliative Care Unit and the Community Palliative Care Team in Waltham Forest.
- Work flexibly across the trust, providing excellent palliative care to the people of East London.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with all departments across the Trust and with other palliative care services locally.
- Participate in the associated teaching programmes and contribute to the development of palliative care services.
- MRCP or Equivalent Specialist qualification.
- Full GMC Registration with license to practice.
- Experience in the management of resources and evidence of experience in Specialist Palliative Care in different settings.
- Ability to take responsibility of service without direct supervision.
