We invite you to become a vital member of our team as a Consultant specializing in Pediatric Palliative Medicine at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Foundation Trust. In this role, you will be instrumental in the Louis Dundas Centre for Pediatric Palliative Care, which operates within the Blood Cells and Cancer Directorate.

The Louis Dundas Centre is recognized as a leading pediatric palliative care unit in Europe, committed to delivering exceptional specialist support for children, adolescents, and their families. As part of this dedicated team, you will provide comprehensive palliative and end-of-life care to patients referred from various locations throughout London and the South East region.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

  • Engage in consultant working hours from Monday to Friday
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary team discussions and departmental initiatives
  • Contribute to the integrated palliative care services across the Trust

Qualifications
  • GMC specialist registration with a Licence to Practice
  • Postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics
  • Experience in Pediatric palliative care and education
  • Research experience and understanding of Clinical Governance
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
