Palliative Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Palliative Medicine to join our team at Whipps Cross University Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients with palliative needs.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing Consultant-level care to patients in the Margaret Centre Specialist Palliative Care Unit and the Community Palliative Care Team in Waltham Forest. This will involve working collaboratively with local and existing wider teams to provide inpatient and outpatient management for patients with palliative care needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Specialist Palliative Care in different settings and be able to take responsibility for service delivery without direct supervision. They will also have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and with colleagues at different locations.
Person Specification- MRCP or Equivalent Specialist qualification
- Full GMC Registration with license to practice
- Experience in the management of resources and evidence of experience in Specialist Palliative Care in different settings
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and with colleagues at different locations
