Palliative Care Consultant Opportunity
Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Palliative Care Consultant to join our team at Whipps Cross University Hospital.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide Consultant care to patients in the Margaret Centre Specialist Palliative Care Unit and the Community Palliative Care Team in Waltham Forest.
- Work flexibly across the trust providing excellent palliative care to the people of East London.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with all departments across the Trust and with other palliative care services locally.
- Participate in the associated teaching programmes and contribute to the development of palliative care services.
Requirements
- MRCP or Equivalent Specialist qualification
- Full GMC Registration with license to practice
- Experience in the management of resources and evidence of experience in Specialist Palliative Care in different settings
- Able to take responsibility of service without direct supervision
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
