Job Summary

The Highland Council is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Children's Services Worker 1 in Inverness. This is a permanent position that requires a strong commitment to providing early intervention services to young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide early intervention services to young people under the direction of nominated managers.
  • Work in accordance with the Highland Practice Model, Highland Children's Service Practice Guidance, the Children (Scotland) Act, professional standards of childcare practice, and Highland Council Policy.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support young people with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting young people.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with young people of primary and secondary school age.
  • Experience of planning strategies to support young people with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Good level of adult literacy and numeracy.
