Our Team

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team of caring professionals. As a Support Worker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the overall welfare of young people in our care, providing a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment that promotes their rights and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide care and support to young people in a residential setting, promoting positive lifestyles and encouraging independence.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each young person.
  • Contribute to a culture of open communication, empathy, and understanding, fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas such as child and adolescent development, trauma-informed care, and behavioral support.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated and resilient individual with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with young people, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting the changing needs of the service.
  • Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills, with a focus on de-escalation and resolution.
