The Highland Council is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children's Services Worker 1 to join our team. As a key member of our social care team, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and development of children and young people in our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Work under the direction of the Head Teacher and School Liaison Group to provide support and guidance to children and young people.
- Implement the Children (Scotland) Act and Highland Council Policy to ensure the highest standards of child care practice.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, young people, and their families to provide a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting children and young people.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to promote the well-being and safety of children and young people.
Requirements
- Professional qualifications and experience in social care or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
